Text Box: 1st dose of HepB vaccine at 30 days of chronologic age if medically stable, or at D/C if before 30 days of age.
Text Box: Give HepB vaccine prior to discharge
Text Box: Give HepB vaccine within 12 hrs of birth and call Mother's primary OB for results or test mother.

Text Box: Initial dose of vaccine is not counted as one of the 3 required doses.  Required doses at 2, 4, and 6 months chronological age with other immunizations for a total of 4 doses
Text Box: Give HBIG if mother's results not available within 12 hours of birth
Text Box: Subsequent HepB vaccine doses at 1-2 mo. and 6 months of age
