Estimated length of stay by birth weight

Based on VUMC data, the following are estimated lengths of stay based on birth-weight. This information may be useful in counseling families. However, families should be cautioned that these expected lengths of stay are "barring any major complications." Also, these estimates are more representative of AGA neonates. SGA neonates may be significantly more mature than their size would suggest.
